A Scope Guards Young Lives | Endoso Ultra-Fine Bronchoscope Helps a Tertiary Grade-A Hospital Save a Critically Ill Child

Autumn and winter are peak seasons for pediatric respiratory diseases. Recently, the Pediatrics Department of Hunan Aerospace Hospital used an Endoso single-use pediatric bronchoscope to successfully perform bronchoscopic bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) for a child with severe pneumonia, helping bring the child back from the brink of death!

Children’s airways are narrow and delicate, and bronchoscopy is often described as “dancing on the tip of a needle,” placing high demands on both anesthesia management and operational technique.

Endoso single-use pediatric bronchoscope, designed specifically for pediatric clinical practice 🧒
✅ One scope per patient, ready to use out of the box; covers outer diameters of 2.5 mm–4.0 mm, providing a precise and reliable endoscopic solution.

✅ Ultra-fine and flexible scope body: it allows direct visualization of the airway mucosa and collection of lavage fluid for pathogen testing to accurately identify the source of infection; it can also flush and suction out sputum plugs and inflammatory secretions, clear the airway, and help medications reach the lesion directly.
After the procedure, the child’s vital signs were stable, the cough was relieved, and ventilation was significantly improved.

We are grateful for the trust and choice of clinical healthcare professionals. In the future, Endoso will continue to focus on infection control and clinical operating experience, and provide endoscopic product solutions that better meet the needs of different diagnostic and treatment scenarios, protecting children’s free and comfortable breathing.
